The claim has been made at The Peoples Voice.tv, that the UN and WHO have been granted "complete immunity" by the Australian government to forcefully vaccinate Australians. That brings to mind images of an army on foreign troops with blue helmets marching now the streets to jab everyone at gun point, but that is an exaggeration. This is from changes to the 1995 Criminal Code Act, allowing medical procedures to be performed by UN officials, but amendments made more recently will extend this to WHO as well, it is alleged. Foreign troops will be permitted to control locals for emergency purposes under The Defence Legislation Amendment (Enhancement of Defence Force Response to Emergencies) Bill 2020,they claim.
Assuming that all this is true, one wonders why it is necessary? The Australian state was well able to control the population during Covid, and both the police and army will do anything governments require, obeying orders. If hypothetically, there was a law passed that every person walking the streets during lockdowns will be shot with no questions asked, I have no doubt that the police and army would comply. They would be just following orders, like the Germans in World War II. So, all the external measures are totally over-kill.

The Australian government recently amended the 1995 Criminal Code Act to update the immunity enjoyed by UN personnel on Australian shores, including the right to perform "defence" and "medical procedures" on citizens with or without consent.
As a UN mandated agency, the WHO personnel are set to enjoy the same legal privileges on Australian soil under the amended legislation.
The amendment was made on 1 August 2024 and can be seen by searching for "United Nations" on the Australian government's legislation page.
The amended legislation is particularly concerning given the fact the Australian government already has legislation in place granting impunity to foreign troops and police during a yet to be defined "emergency."
The Defence Legislation Amendment (Enhancement of Defence Force Response to Emergencies) Bill 2020 grants impunity to foreign troops, potentially including UN troops, to quell what the government consider an "emergency" on Australian soil.
