I receive emails from Fair Australia, the leading organisation for the No campaign in the Voice referendum. Here are some recent, to the point comments from Senator Price:
“What will the Voice to Parliament actually do?
That’s a good question, one Australians have been asking from one end of the country to the other.
You’d think there would be a clear answer, right?
But the more the Voice activists and the ‘yes’ campaign try to explain it, the muddier it gets.
The truth is they won’t tell us how the divisive Voice will work until after it’s cemented in our Constitution forever.
But we do know what the people who are pushing it think.
Meet Teela Reid.
She’s an architect of the Voice and has been fighting to enshrine it in your Constitution.
She’s a prominent Voice campaigner, Uluru Dialogue leader and member of Anthony Albanese’s Voice Referendum Engagement Group.
In fact, the PM named her – along with Voice architect and militant unionist Thomas Mayo – as one of the “remarkable people” on his Voice referendum committee.
She’s fighting to “abolish Australia Day” and is so radical she believes “changing the date is a cop out”.
She says the Voice is about “the fight for … compensation and reparations”.
She wants to get back to the “radical roots of the Communist Party”.
According to Teela Reid, the Voice is “the first step in redistributing power”.
I think every Australian should listen carefully to Teela Reid.
She is not afraid of telling you what the Voice will cost.
And if you listen carefully, it’s clear.
Our values, our prosperity and our national unity are all at risk.
Please watch and share on social media.
This is something your friends and family definitely need to see.
Yours in unity”
