These are worrying times, where it is no longer a fringe view to fear for the lifeblood of Western civilisation. Recently, John Anderson, deputy prime minister from 1999 to 2005, asked in an article: “Do We support Free Speech or Revert to McCarthyism?” The Australian, April 12, 2017, p. 14. He had as a sub-heading; “Australia risks becoming ungovernable if we bar people from free expression.” There is clear evidence of a “new totalitarianism,” and Anderson gives a long list of examples of this from many debates, especially the incidents associated with section 18 C complaints, and the Senate, thanks to the NXT, other independents, the Greens and Labor, voting down amendments to section 18 C: “Labor, the Greens, the Nick Xenophon Team and crossbencher Jacqui Lambie opposed changes to the wording of 18C, robbing the government of the 39 votes it needs to get it through the upper house.
The attempt to re-word 18C was killed off by a Labor amendment to the bill, 31 votes to 28, leaving the commission’s process changes remaining.” http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2017/03/31/senate-votes-down-18c-reforms.html. Hence, a weighty section of Australia’s parliament does not support the liberal value of free speech, and favours multicult thought control instead. Note the names, and vote them out, while you still can. Don’t assume that independents are necessarily against the Deep State; they are often more system than system folk.
There are many other things that can be added to his list, such as the treatment of anti-Islamist Somali-born speaker Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who was not able to speak in Australia, after threats of having any meeting disrupted by thousands of protesters: The Australian, April 6, 2017, p. 12. While the politically correct are oh so sensitive about offensive speech, they don’t worry much about their threats of violence to achieve their ends. The authorities just let it happen, especially if conservative or Alt Right groups are involved. Religiously motivated attacks on Christians can also be ignored, or downplayed by the multicult establishment: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/rendezview/we-rush-to-condemn-islamophobia-what-about-antichristian-attacks/news-story/2bb6f9a158146e963355a6da3adbe70a.
Trump offered hope against this oppressive system, but has now shown that he is too, just a Deep State fluffy bunny (it is Easter Sunday). Alternative journalists are not supposed to be too negative, to not upset their audience. You know, if there were a team of killers coming to your house, one should say: “Oh, I suspect that you will have a fun party tonight, or say nothing.”
I, for one, would like to know the news, however bad, so that I know exactly where I stand. Things are grim and getting grimmer out there. The evidence is that fundamental liberal values have already collapsed and that we are living under a new form of totalitarianism, as even more mainstream journalists are openly admitting now.
Don’t adjust your mind; the fault is in reality (R. D. Laing).
