Cancelled for Speaking Out about Transgender Rapists! By Mrs Vera West

Woke, or what was once called by the better terminology, political correctness, which locates its Maoist origin, has not gone away. In the UK a Police and Crime Commissioner has been officially reprimanded after speaking out about transgender rapists. She was said to be disrespectful to the transgender rapists, for supporting J.K. Rowling’s tweet that said that transgender rapists are not female. And to make this truly the theatre of the absurd, Crispin Blunt, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Reigate, yes, a so-called “conservative,” as well as two other male complainers, reported Townsend to the male-dominated panel, who made their ruling on International Women’s Day! We will have more to say about Rowling below.

“A Police and Crime Commissioner has been officially reprimanded after speaking out about transgender rapists.

Lisa Townsend, the Conservative’s police and crime commissioner for Surrey, was ruled to have not been “dignified or respectful” by Surrey’s police and crime panel when supporting J.K. Rowling’s tweet that suggested transgender rapists are not female.

Crispin Blunt, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Reigate, as well as two other male complainees reported Townsend to the male-dominated panel, who ruled on International Women’s Day that Townsend had breached the code of conduct of her office, and reprimanded her.

Townsend upon hearing the verdict said that the panel “is saying you should not speak about this [transgender rapists], but if you do, we’ll police the language”, the Daily Mail reports.

The backlash on Townsend came after she engaged with a tweet from J.K. Rowling that called out a policy from Scottish police that allowed male rapists to identify as female, even if they have a penis.

“War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The Penised Individual Who Raped You Is a Woman”, Rowling said in December 2021, in an effort to compare the Scottish police to George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984.

Townsend responded to this by tweeting, “It’s not a ‘niche’ issue, it’s not ‘hysterical’ of women to be taking to the streets about it. We will not accept this gaslighting from men who keep telling us they are women, or from those who enable them. #IStandWithJKRowling”.

After being apparently offended by the communication Crispin Blunt MP — who is also the chairman of the all-party parliamentary group on LGBT+ rights — complained to Surrey Council that Townsend’s “messaging propagates dangerous myths”.

Speaking in response to the panel Townsend said on Tuesday she was “disappointed that on this International Women’s Day Surrey’s Police and Crime Panel have found my tweet in support of a J.K. Rowling post about women who have been raped by ‘women’ with a penis, not to be ‘dignified or respectful’ and to explain myself to the [three] men who complained”.

“These three men who complained, and a panel full of men who investigated it, have decided they must police a woman’s language about an issue of great concern to many women… That is the issue of the safety and rights of women to go to female-only spaces such as domestic abuse shelters. I will not stop speaking out about these issues”, she later told the British paper.

The panel opted to rule against Townsend despite her highlighting in January that she was merely trying to “stand up for women” with her initial tweet as well as highlighting she does “support the right of trans men and women to live how they choose”.

The decision against Townsend came on the same day that Rowling accused the Labour Party of branding International Women’s Day as “We Who Must Not Be Named Day”, after Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities, was repeatedly unable to define what a woman actually is.

However, Townsend’s treatment also appears to highlight that the Conservatives are also unwilling to stand up to the radical trans-lobby: Surrey Council is currently controlled by the Conservative Party.”

“J.K. Rowling has again taken on the trans-lobby by suggesting Labour have rebranded International Women’s Day as “We Who Must Not Be Named Day” on Tuesday.

The Harry Potter author and one-time hero of the British left called out Britain’s socialist Labour Party after Anneliese Dodds, Labour’s Chair and Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities, went on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Women’s Hour’ and was repeatedly flubbed defining what a woman actually is. Despite struggling answer to the question, that until quite recently would have been an extremely easy one to answer, Dodds nevertheless used the appearance as a chance to praise Labour’s efforts in standing up for women’s rights.

“Well, I have to say that there are different definitions legally around what a woman actually is. I mean you look at the definition within the Equality Act and I think it just says someone who is adult and female but doesn’t say how you define either of those things. I mean obviously, that’s when you’ve got the biological definition, legal definition, all kinds of things”, Dodds said.

When pushed for Labour’s exact definition Dodds continued — but sounding increasingly strained as she spoke — telling the audience: “I think it does depend what the context is surely. You know, there are people who have decided that they have to make that transition…because they live as a woman they want to be defined as a woman, that’s what the gender recognition act, again a Labour process brought in to place”.

When asked whether she believes “trans women are women” by host Emma Barnett, Dodds was reluctant to provide a clear answer.

Despite the confusion of Dodds on national radio, Labour has otherwise cemented their support behind the trans lobby with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer insisting in September 2021 that “it is not right” to say only women have a cervix.

Dodds’ performance was picked up by Rowling who initially tweeted: “Someone please send the Shadow Minister for Equalities a dictionary and a backbone”.

Rowling then posted a picture of Joanna Cherry – the SNP MP who rebelled against her party to vote against allowing people to self-identify their gender without medical input – with the caption “this is what a woman who owns a dictionary and a backbone looks like”.

Shortly followed by, “apparently, under a Labour government, today will become We Who Must Not Be Named Day”, a reference to the Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort.

Dodds later tweeted a claim that “Labour will lift women up, not hold them back” – to which Rowling replied “This morning you told the British public you literally can’t define what a woman is. What’s the plan, lift up random objects until you find one that rattles?”.

Rowling is an outspoken critic of the radical transgender movement and previously drew the attention of trans activists after standing up for Maya Forstater on Twitter in December 2019, a British tax expert who was fired after tweeting that “men cannot change into women”.

The world-famous author has also previously tweeted other newly controversial statements such as: “People who menstruate. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”.

Rowling’s bravery has not however gone without punishment, as there have been several efforts to cancel the author, including two British schools removing her name from one of their houses, and two U.S. quidditch leagues – the fictional sport from Harry Potter – pledging to change their name in protest of Rowling’s stance on trans issues.”
