A virologist who once worked at the Wuhan lab, rejected the idea of a lab leak of the virus, but now admits that COVID-19 could have escaped from the lab, but still holds to the natural origins hypothesis. Read on for details.
“The latest effort to bolster the COVID-19 natural origin theory comes from Bloomberg, which published a glowing interview of Danielle Anderson – an Australian virologist who worked shoulder-to-shoulder with top scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, who she then ran cover for – repeatedly insisting that COVID-19 couldn’t have possibly escaped from the lab.
In a nutshell, Anderson now admits that COVID-19 could have escaped from the lab, but maintains that the WIV followed appropriate protocols, and she didn’t see any sick workers (despite leaving in November, weeks before the reported illnesses) – a key piece of evidence revealed by the Wall Street Journal.
That said, she continues to insist that the pandemic had a natural origin – as opposed to escaping from the bat coronavirus lab she worked in, known for genetically manipulating bat coronaviruses to better infect humans, located in the town where the human-infecting bat coronavirus broke out.
Yet, now that the lab-leak hypothesis has been mainstreamed and dozens of signatories of an anti-lab-leak screed in The Lancet have distanced themselves from the document written by (also conflicted) Wuhan collaborator Peter Daszak, Anderson’s change in tone to allow for the possibility she repeatedly ‘debunked’ is hilarious.
“I’m not naive enough to say I absolutely write this off,” she now says, while maintaining that there’s ‘no evidence’ to support the most logical possibility – as opposed to the natural origin hypothesis which has absolutely zero evidence to support it.
Anderson did concede that it would be theoretically possible for a scientist in the lab to be working on a gain of function technique to unknowingly infect themselves and to then unintentionally infect others in the community. But there’s no evidence that occurred and Anderson rated its likelihood as exceedingly slim.” -Bloomberg
She also says that nobody was sick when she left in November of 2019, one month before the US State Department says three WIV scientists required hospitalization after falling ill with COVID-19 symptoms. Anderson, however, claims she would have heard rumors if it was true.
“There was no chatter,” she said. “Scientists are gossipy and excited. There was nothing strange from my point of view going on at that point that would make you think something is going on here.”
Anderson served as a Facebook ‘fact checker’ – where she repeatedly ‘debunked’ the lab-leak theory. This of course provided big tech with ‘scientific’ justification to stifle any debate over the matter. She also ‘debunked’ a New York Post article claiming that “China [is having] a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, while peddling the now-debunked wet-market theory in a paper she co-wrote in The Lancet, which reads: “While recognising the tremendous effort by the China CDC team in the early response to the 2019-nCoV outbreak, the small number of team members trained in animal health was probably one of the reasons for the delay in identifying an intermediate animal(s), which is likely to have caused the spread of the virus in a region of the market where wildlife animals were traded and subsequently found to be heavily contaminated. Unfortunately, what animal(s) was involved in transmission remains unknown.”
Oddly, Duke-NUS medical school Singapore (listed as a current affiliate per ResearchGate) has deleted Anderson’s bio, which listed no fewer than five collaborations with Dr. Peng Zhou – a Wuhan scientist experimenting on bat coronavirus.
So, Danielle really has nothing to add except that she changed her tune to include the possibility of lab escape, while reiterating the same defense of her Chinese colleagues.
Except, Twitter user @Daoyu15 brought receipts indicating that the WIV ‘leaked like a sieve’ (while Twitter continues to slap warning labels Zero Hedge reports), along with analysis suggesting that “There are unpublished engineered betacotonaviruses throughout Wuhan sequencing data,” adding “The WIV engaged in fraud regarding sample origin.”
More along the same lines, of China’s great Covid cover-up:
“One of the leading investigators for the World Health Organization, Jamie Metzl, said China continues to engage in a “massive cover up” while concealing the origins of SARS-CoV-2. The former State Department official appeared on Fox News to call for a “full investigation” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology by the United States government and its international allies.
“The Chinese have engaged in a massive cover-up that is going on until this day, involving destroying samples, hiding records, placing a universal gag order on Chinese scientists and imprisoning Chinese citizen journalists asking the most basic questions.”
“The more that China stonewalls, the more suspicious that it looks,” stated Metzl.
China owes the world historic reparations, and their collaborators must be held to account
There are a number of important things that Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Peter Daszak and the Chinese Communist Party have in common. They all helped finance the Wuhan Institute of Virology. They all supported the lab’s gain-of-function coronavirus research. They were consulted on the progress of this unethical research and thought the ongoing experiments were worth the risk of a potential pandemic. These entities trusted one another for many years, while conducting the most unethical research that exploits human immune systems. These entities have also thanked one another privately and praised one another publicly during a global health crisis — a pandemic for which they could all be culpable.
For over a year, they all lied about the lab origin of SARS-CoV-2, deflecting from their responsibilities, to ultimately downplay their role in the matter. Just as Fauci perjured himself in front of the US Senate, China has stonewalled international investigation into the lab’s gain-of-function coronavirus experiments and vaccine/virus surveillance research. Just as Daszak brags about creating lethal coronaviruses, so does China brag about continuing gain-of-function research and building more labs for virus engineering.
Metzl said China pushed the World Health Organization away in the early days of the pandemic and rejected reporters, giving the CCP the time they needed to destroy evidence and records. Evidence shows that mistakes were made in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. On the heels of the original outbreak in Wuhan, lab workers fell severely ill with a new SARS-like illness. China continues to conceal the blood work from these lab workers. Yuan Zhiming, the director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s BSL-4 lab, wrote in 2019 that maintenance at the Wuhan Institute of Virology was “generally neglected.” “Several high-level BSLs have insufficient operational funds for routine yet vital processes,” Zhiming confirmed. According to former FDA head Scott Gottlieb, the last six known outbreaks of SARS-1 have been out of their BSL labs, and China was not forthcoming about these leaks.
Dr. Peter Daszak plays a major role in China’s coverup of SARS-CoV-2 origins.
Metzl pointed out that Dr. Daszak is part of the coverup. In the early days of the outbreak, Daszak sought to control the narrative by coercing his colleagues at EcoHealth Alliance and the Wellcome Trust to rule out the lab leak theory completely. As a fellow investigator for the WHO, Daszak was able to coerce twenty-seven scientists to sign a letter dismissing the lab leak theory before any scientific investigation could have occurred. Published in the Lancet, that letter praised the Chinese and called anyone who disagreed with him a “conspiracy theorist.”
“By labeling anyone with different views a conspiracy theorist, the Lancet letter was the worst form of bullying in full contravention of the scientific method,” Metzl said.
Daszak also claimed “no competing interests” in the infamous letter, yet he was the one who previously bragged about making coronaviruses more lethal, while funding these unethical experiments at the Wuhan lab and collaborating with the CCP.
“We can’t give China a veto over whether or not we investigate the world’s worst pandemic in a century and then do everything we can to make everybody safe,” Metzl warned.”
Yet authorities in the West, who knew all of this have gone along with the China agenda, having long ago sold out their nations for their thirty (million) pieces of silver
