$ 600 Million for Foreign Ruby Team, but Aussies Can Go Homeless and Hungry! By James Reed

It seems the Albo government is set to spend $ 600 million on a foreign rugby team, for the NRL to introduce an 18th team based in Papua New Guinea. This has been done at time of a cost-of-living crisis, produced by this globalist puppet government's Great Replacement mass immigration program. Critics, such as from One Nation, have pointed out the obvious, that the money would be better spent helping build homes, or even going directly to the homeless to get them off the streets as winter is now here, and the mercury is dropping.

At the links below there is a petition to sign, which we need to do to register our disgust with decisions like this. How easily the politicians spend taxpayer's money, with not a care in the world. We need to make them care, and accountable.

"Amid a housing and cost-of-living crisis, spending $600 million on a foreign rugby league team is irresponsible and reckless. Australians value sport, but this allocation overlooks critical domestic needs.

Redirecting these funds could:

-Build 8,000 new homes, easing housing affordability.

-Establish new hospitals in regional areas, improving healthcare access.

-Construct two new high schools, enhancing education.

-Equip and deploy hundreds of new police officers, boosting public safety.

The Albanese government's reckless and irresponsible waste of taxpayer dollars must be opposed at every turn!"

"During a housing and cost-of-living crisis, the Albanese Government has shockingly written a $600 million cheque for the NRL to introduce an 18th team based in Papua New Guinea. This spending is outrageous and has infuriated many Australians.

Don't get us wrong: a lot of Australians love their sport, particularly footy. But not a single Australian (except Albo) would agree that a $600 million stack of taxpayers' cash going to a foreign country for their footy team is a wise decision, especially during a cost-of-living crisis.

Let's look at this. Using Albo's own figures, $600 million could build 8000 new homes. It would provide for a new regional hospital or at least half a dozen new high schools. It could buy a new police academy, or arm and uniform hundreds of new police to make our streets safer. But instead, Albo has seen fit to give the millionaires at the NRL $600 million for a new team in their competition.

Imagine the cost savings on your power bill if the federal government invested $600million in a clean coal fired power station or contributed to the building of a nuclear generator. No, instead Albo thinks it's cool to fund a rugby league team based in PNG.

It's despicable to think a Prime Minister would be so neglectful of his country in such an outlandish way. The NRL has ample funds available to throw at a new team; it is a commercial enterprise. The executives of the NRL, filled with Labor mates like former Labor Minister Kate Jones and Peter Beattie, have combined remuneration packages worth millions of dollars.

Footy players earn millions in sponsorship and through their contracts. The NRL is not a poor organisation that needs taxpayer funds to prop it up.

Anthony Albanese needs to get his priorities in order: helping Australians in need rather than helping wealthy sporting codes which need none. As reported in news outlets, the social media response to Labor's decision has upset more than a few people."

$600Million For a Footy Team but Nothing for Regional Health

May 31, 2024

Federal Labor have handed the wealthy NRL $600million to start a football team in Papua New Guinea - but have nothing for regional health, education or policing in our struggling communities. This is the end of the line for Labor. What is worse, the federal government is considering to offer NRL players in PNG tax-free status."
