True Grit By John Steele

John Wayne, who starred in the legendary Western, True Grit (1969), would no doubt admire the efforts of a Japanese teenager, who in a relay race, fell and fractured her leg. Just so her team could complete  the race, she crawled the last 700 feet, bleeding onto the road as she went. There is a moral to this story, indeed: never give up, but carry on regardless, even if in the end you are crawling and bleeding, which is probably going to be the way it ends!

Men of the West are in a parallel position, on their knees, crawling.
