Most of us are particular about body hygiene – as my dear long-departed mother said: “cleanliness is next to godliness.” Well, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, since there must have been many god-fearing miners in the old days, but the basic point is surely right. Keeping clean, even if one is poor exhibits order and care and a concern for system over chaos. Therefore, it is no surprise to learn that people from the Right are less likely to have body odour, because they keep cleaner:

Hence, the Left are dirtier. I contend that this is a metaphysical state, that the body is in a sense a reflection of one’s soul, or state of personality, as the great Jewish philosopher Wittgenstein once said. The Left are dirtier because they simply have a dirtier worldview, one which has shown itself to be the bloodiest doctrine in human history.
