Israel Does Not Want More (Non-Jewish) Immigration, and Good for Them! By James Reed

Israelis do not want any more non-Jewish migrants, whether they are skilled or not:

“The majority of Israelis don’t support non-Jewish immigration to the country, even when the immigrants are highly trained or have advanced degrees, according to a new Pew Research Center report released on Tuesday.
The Pew poll found that 51 percent of Israelis oppose high-skilled immigration of foreigners moving to the country with a bachelor’s degree or higher. The Pew poll focused on immigration of those not entitled to Israeli citizenship under the law of return, which applies to anybody with at least one Jewish grandparent.”

My view of this; good on them, a nation has the right to decide who should enter their borders, and Israel certainly this right to exist. Not all agree with this live and let live philosophy, though, and the Left has declared open war on all nationalisms, including Israel nationalism. Here, Soros-funded groups lead the attack upon Israel:

“Financing tied to billionaire activist George Soros is a common yet largely under-reported theme among organizations that lead or support the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign attempting to delegitimize the Jewish state. In January, Israel released a list of 20 BDS-supporting organizations whose members will be banned from entering Israel due to their BDS activism, prominently featuring six American groups. At least four of the six BDS-promoting U.S. groups receive funding tied to Soros. Scores of other U.S. organizations that support the BDS movement are financed by Soros. The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a central proponent of anti-Israel BDS activism on college campuses and in churches, boasting a mission that exclaims active support for “boycott and divestment campaigns that target companies complicit in the occupation.”

AFSC has been financed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations as well as the Soros-funded Tides Foundation. Tides is a central funding hub that distributes donor funds to far-left organizations. Indeed, Tides is one of the nation’s biggest funders of progressive organizations. AFSC helped lead the campaign demanding divestment from Hewlett Packard and Sodastream due to the companies’ Israel branches. AFSC works hand in hand with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), which is notorious for its anti-Israel crusade on college campuses, where the group peddles the BDS movement. AFSC and SJP are both featured on Israel’s list of six banned U.S.-based BDS-promoting organizations. Students for Justice in Palestine, in turn, receives legal help for its work from an organization called Palestine Legal. Palestine Legal was created for the express purpose of “stand[ing] for justice in Palestine” and defending BDS. Palestine Legal’s website advertises that it is a “fiscally sponsored project of the Tides Center.” The Tides Center is a subsidiary entity of the Soros-funded Tides Foundation. Students for Justice in Palestine, meanwhile, regularly partners with the BDS-supporting, radical Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), another group banned in Israel over its BDS activities. JVP does not disclose most of its donors, but it has reportedly been funded by the Soros-financed Tides Foundation. Also banned from entering Israel over BDS activism is the radical CODEPINK organization, which has been financed by the Soros-funded Tides Foundation and is well known for its disruptive protest antics.”

It seems that wherever there is some successful globalist group attacking national borders, there is some link to George Soros. But, not just Soros, though. A recent article in the New York Times advocates the boycott of Israeli banks over the Palestine issue. Well, I am not interested in the Palestine issue and see no relevance of this to Australians, or Americans. What trade have we with “Palestine”? As for Israel, it is a high tech manufacturer and of enormous importance to Australia; for example, no Israel, no Intel computer processors:

Let the BDS Leftoids go without computers and watch them squeal! So, it is easy to see who should be backed on economics grounds alone.
