The anti-gun movement has attempted to group together all matter of Left wing groups to beef its support. The gay community in America is one group sought, but many gays are rejecting the low-hanging fruit line of ban guns, and are advocating that the LGBTI (not sure what that means) folk arm themselves and deal with their own protection:

Good for them, too. If I was a gay person, I would do the same. But, I am not gay, but instead, pretty unhappy.
