I understand from the rest of my brothers at the Alor.org blog in Australia, that there is not much in the mainstream media about individuals getting personally prepared for the coming of World War III, which has already started according to some authorities in the West. Russia certainly thinks so and is in mass production of bomb/fallout shelters for its population. Of course, unlike in the West, Russia had built a lot of the fallout shelters during the Cold War, and did not wind them down; they are still good to go.
However here in Europe there are some explicit war preparations. Thus, the Swedish government has distributed over 5 million copies of a book advising its citizens how to prepare for war with Russia, including nuclear attacks. Finland and Norway have done the same. Finland is even building a 10-foot-high fence right along its border with Russia, which would probably do nothing beyond being a symbolic act. Germany has "Operation Deutschland" is a 1,000-page plan to prepare for the possibility of a World War III. The plan is for 800,000 NATO troops, including Americans, to join the Ukrainians.
While personal preparation and stockpiling of resources such as food, fuel and water is good, the general plan to conduct a second world war style battle is quite misplaced as the Russians will, as indicated by the recent launch of an intermediate range missile, simply deploy these, or place nuclear bombs in them, if Russia feels that it is existentially threatened, which it almost certainly will be.

"It appears that something really big is in the works. All of a sudden, a number of countries in Europe seem to be really freaking out about what is ahead, and that seems very strange. The war in Ukraine has been actively raging since February 2022. So why are so many European nations now telling their people to prepare for war? What has changed? Do they know something that we don't?
On Tuesday, Ukraine fired six long-range missiles that were provided by the United States into Russia.
On Wednesday, Ukraine fired twelve long-range missiles that were provided by the United Kingdom into Russia.
This is literally insane.
What would we do if another superpower was using Canada or Mexico to launch long-range missiles at us?
Needless to say, there would be millions of Americans screaming for us to use nukes against that superpower.
Well, right now there are millions of people inside Russia that want their government to use nuclear weapons against the United States and Europe.
Of course if there is a full-blown nuclear war, there won't be any winners. As I pointed out in this video, more than 90 percent of the U.S. population would eventually end up dead.
We should be doing all that we can to find a way out of this mess.
The war in Ukraine is not good for anyone except for the military-industrial complex, and so leaders on both sides should be seeking to sit down at the negotiating table while it is still possible to do so.
But instead of pushing for negotiations, a number of countries in Europe appear to be preparing for war.
For example, on Monday
Why would Sweden need to prepare for war?
Nobody is going to attack Sweden.
Something doesn't smell right.
Sweden has not had to fight a war for a very long time, but apparently top Swedish officials believe that this is a very real possibility…
Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin made waves in January when he warned: "There could be war in Sweden."
Sweden's then army chief Micael Byden also alarmed many when he days later said "Swedes have to mentally prepare for war."
Sweden has not gone to war in more than two centuries.
Meanwhile, Finland and Norway are also suddenly interested in getting their citizens prepared for war…
As Norwegian paper Aftenposten recently reported, Norway's citizens have also received similar "emergency preparedness" pamphlets because "in the worst case" acts of war could also affect Norway.
Finland's government, too, has released a digital booklet to prepare citizens for "incidents and crises," stating that the country "has always been prepared for the worst possible threat, war."
In particular, Finland has become quite paranoid.
They are actually constructing a 10-foot-tall wall that is going to be 200 km long when it is finally finished…
Finland shares a 1,340-kilometre (830-mile) border with Russia and Helsinki has maintained a higher level of preparedness.
But after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, Helsinki announced plans to build a 200-kilometre border fence with Russia.
Three meters (10 feet) tall and topped with barbed wire, it is due to be completed by 2026.
Why would the Russians invade Finland?
The Russians have their hands quite full with Ukraine, and that isn't going to change any time soon.
Once again, something is not adding up.
In Germany, an incredibly detailed document that is a thousand pages long contains intricate plans for a war with Russia…
According to a 1,000-page document entitled 'Operationsplan Deutschland', Germany would reportedly host hundreds of thousands of troops from NATO countries and serve as a logistics hub for sending huge quantities of military equipment, food and medicine toward the front.
A report by Der Spiegel in the summer said as many as 800,000 soldiers from the security bloc could be hosted by Germany as they transit to posts further East.
The German army is also instructing companies and civilians on how to protect key infrastructure and mobilise for national defence, envisaging a situation in which Russia expands drone flights, spying operations and sabotage attacks across Europe.
Why are they spending so much time and energy preparing for a hypothetical war with Russia?
If the Russians become convinced that an all-out war with NATO is inevitable, they won't invade Europe with conventional forces.
Instead, they will use their nukes.
And the Europeans won't be the first to get nuked.
We will.
As I have relentlessly warned my readers, Russia has been preparing to fight a nuclear war with the United States for a long time.
Their strategic nuclear arsenal is far superior to our own, their anti-missile systems are far superior to our own, and the subs that they would use to deliver a devastating first strike are so quiet that we cannot even track them effectively.
So let's find a peaceful solution to the problem in Ukraine before events spiral completely out of control.
Because right now we are closer to nuclear war than we have ever been, and the death and destruction that a full-blown nuclear war would cause would be unthinkable.Top of Form

Secret documents revealed Wednesday that Berlin has begun making plans for how it could help deploy as many as 800,000 NATO troops — including Americans — into Ukraine as Russia's nuclear saber-rattling reaches new heights.
"Operation Deutschland" is a 1,000-page plan to prepare Germany for the possibility of a World War III scenario.
The top-secret papers reportedly detail specific buildings and infrastructure to protect so they can be utilized by the military, and how businesses and civilians should prepare in case of increased threats, according to the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
They also suggested Berlin was preparing a way to push 200,000 military vehicles across German territory should the alliance be required to join Ukraine's efforts, though further details were kept classified.
Germany has also advised citizens on ways to prepare for the worst by boosting their self-sufficiency through mechanisms including installing diesel generators or even wind turbines, according to the report.
Putin 'playing with our fear'
The alarm is not contained to Germany. Sweden and Norway have also recently issued pamphlets and literature instructing citizens on how to prepare should the Ukraine conflict boil over into their countries.
The rising concern comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin formally changed the Kremlin's nuclear strike policy on Tuesday, announcing that Moscow may now use nuclear weapons to respond to non-nuclear, "conventional weapons" strikes.
Though Berlin has been criticized over perceived hesitance regarding support for Ukraine's fight since 2022, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said Tuesday that the country would "not let ourselves be intimidated" by Putin's nuclear policy shift.
"Putin is playing with our fear. He didn't just start doing this 1,000 days ago [when Russia invaded Ukraine], he started back in 2014 [when Russia annexed Crimea]," she said. "Germany, in particular, made the mistake back then, especially politically, of allowing itself to be intimidated by this fear — and above all, not listening to its partners, especially our Eastern European partners, who made it clear at the time that we must not rely on promises from the Kremlin."
"We must invest in our own security and protection," she added.
The policy change was in response to another major development in the war's prosecution this week: the long-awaited US decision to allow Ukraine to fire American-made longer-range missiles into Russia — eliminating a former "safe space" Russia enjoyed 190 miles from the Ukrainian border.
That move — as well as Germany's reported decision to create a WWIII plan — was spurred by Russia's decision to ask North Korea to send at least 10,000 troops to help fight Ukraine, with a possibility of bringing in another 100,000 from the Communist US adversary, insiders say.
Many world leaders, experts and US officials have said the direct involvement of US troops is the most significant escalation in the war since its start.
Path to victory
Europe's preparations come after former and future President Donald Trump regularly warned audiences at his campaign rallies that the US could be on the brink of World War III as three of America's foremost adversaries — Russia, North Korea and Iran — are now actively involved in conflicts with US allies.
Without Trump announcing a formal plan for how he will handle the Ukraine war, some Russia hawks and NATO states have feared he might sympathize with Moscow. However, the president-elect has shown recent signs of supporting Ukraine in reaching a just end to the war.
For example, Trump indicated he would not oppose allowing Ukraine to continue firing into Russia once he comes into office in a recent conversation with an "Eastern European president," a source told The Post on Wednesday.
That strategy of hitting Russia directly is a major part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's "victory plan" he has been pitching to world leaders — including Trump — since this fall.
"I recall our great meeting with President Trump back in September, when we discussed in detail the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and ways to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine," Zelensky posted to X after Trump secured the 2024 election. "I appreciate President Trump's commitment to the 'peace through strength' approach in global affairs."
"This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together."
Zelensky has continued singing the president-elect's praises this week, telling Fox News on Tuesday that he believed the Republican's election will bring a swifter end to the war because Trump is "stronger" than Putin.
However, the Ukrainian president also cautioned that if the US Congress refuses to continue military aid for Ukraine, his country "will lose."
Still, he was optimistic in a Sunday interview with Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne that — thanks in part to Trump's election — the war could end next year through diplomatic means.
"[The war] will end faster with the policy of this team that will now lead the White House," referring to the incoming Trump administration. "This is their approach, their promise to their society, and it is also very important to them."
