Time for me to enter the Covington Catholic students controversy, that is, allegations of racism by sweet smiling students, who did nothing while a professional activist banged a drum in their face:

Doxxing is exposing personal details about a person so that those who are vicious are free to attack them and their families. It is a favourite tactic of the Left, but sometimes conservatives may do it unthinkingly, or uncaringly, not worrying too much about who gets hurt:

“Dartmouth Professor Jeff Sharlet argued in favor of “doxxing” the Covington Catholic High School students in a tweet this week. In a Tuesday-night tweet, Dartmouth English Professor Jeff Sharlet argued that the personal information of students from Covington Catholic High School should be released online. The students came under fire last week after a storm of misleading news reports led the masses to believe that they had behaved inappropriately at a rally in Washington D.C. “I’ll have no problem with someone doxxing these boys,” Sharlet wrote, according to a report from The College Fix. Sharlet has since locked down his Twitter account, making it inaccessible to anyone who wasn’t already following him.”
The problem for the professor is that there is nothing to prevent him from being doxed as well. It becomes then a crazy arms race, and maybe more bitter to, on a micro scale.
