Women’s Rights to Dismembered Abortions By Mrs Vera West
According to this news site, perhaps the best for what is happening in the US and coming our way:
a Texas judge has temporarily blocked a Texas law that banned second trimester dismemberment abortions in which unborn babies are “torn limb from limb” and then extracted from the uterus.
U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel held that Planned Parenthood and the other plaintiffs satisfied a requirement for the temporary injunction showing that “threatened injury to the Plaintiffs outweighs any damage that the temporary restraining order might cause the State.” The plaintiffs maintained that the new law blocked women’s access to abortions, which is the big feminist issue, next to “equal pay” and affirmative action all round.
Here is what the Attorney General of Texas said in reply:
“Attorney General Ken Paxton expressed displeasure with a district court ruling today granting a temporary restraining order against a law protecting unborn human life from dismemberment abortions. The law, known as Senate Bill 8, was passed during the regular session of the Texas Legislature and signed into law by Governor Abbott. It was set to take effect tomorrow, September 1.
Abortion by dismemberment kills fetuses by tearing them limb from limb while they are still alive, causing the unborn victim to bleed to death. The U.S. Supreme Court holds that states have an interest in protecting and fostering respect for human life, including unborn life.
“Dismemberment abortions are gruesome and inhumane, which makes it troubling that a district court would block Texas’ lawful authority to protect the life of unborn children from such a barbaric practice,” said Marc Rylander, director of communications for the Office of the Attorney General. “The Texas Attorney General will continue to defend our state’s legal right to protect the basic human rights and dignity of the unborn.”
In its ruling, the district court wrote that the ban on dismemberment abortions would likely pose a burden on second-trimester abortions. In fact, SB 8 does not ban all forms of second-trimester abortions, but ensures more humane treatment of the unborn child.”
What is philosophically bizarre about the feminist position is that feminism on paper, is committed to equality and “anti-racism” and non-discrimination, yet it discriminates in the most violent way possible against foetuses. It does not matter if the foetus is regarded as a person or not; say that it is not for the sake of the argument. However, the foetus is still living, and no feminist, however brain dead, has denied that. In fact, could the foetus be regarded as a genetic refugee, in the same position as the young men presently flooding into the West? Isn’t it…RACIST!!!!! Gasp!
Feminism is morally and logically incoherent, but we knew that for a long time. It is a pity that Western civilisation faces destruction from this evil force alone. Yet the perfect storm of destructive forces, including the low T of men, has prevented an effective resistance to something that should have been squashed decades ago:
