The Threat of the Great Replacement By Richard Miller (London)
Vdare.com had a great piece a few weeks back on the issue of the Great Replacement of whites, also known as white genocide. The interesting thing was it was written by a Venezuelan immigrant, who knew a thing or two about the way the Left sand communists operate. Race is but one of their political weapons. The observations about the UK are spot on, in my opinion, being on the ground here.

White Britons have known since at least 2010 that they’ll become a minority by about 2060 if things don’t change. In 2017, the city’s Muslims posted a sign: “No whites allowed after 8 p.m.” Birmingham is no longer British.
I saw what was coming on a trip to England and France after my high school graduation more than a decade ago. I visited London and Paris and, as a Venezuelan immigrant to the U.S., was taken aback by the level of “diversity.” Paris, which merits its own article, was more surprising. Nonetheless, when I walked through London. I was still shocked by the number of Indians, Pakistanis, Nigerians, and other non-Caucasians. My impression of the UK from television and literature was that it was basically white, with a few foreign elements sprinkled in from its imperial days. That perception changed as I passed through numerous ethnic ghettos. At that time, my politics was rudimentary to say the least, but I got the sensation that something was off. However, none of these ominous trends disturb Britain’s ruling class.
Like the American oligarchy, British political elites are hooked on cheap labor and have no desire to protect indigenous Britons. To no one’s surprise, Prime Minister Boris Johnson (who in 2020 offered to import THREE MILLION Hong Kong Chinese to Britain ) wants to accelerate the national suicide with an illegal-alien amnesty.
Earlier this year, the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) exposed one of Johnson’s attempts to offer a temporary amnesty to 1.3 million illegal aliens to receive COVID vaccines [Boris Johnson wants a full amnesty for illegal immigrants, by UKIP, YouTube, February 10, 2021]. But he didn’t stop there.

When people have been here for a very long time and haven’t fallen foul of the law, then it makes sense to try to regularize their status. This is pretty much what already happens under the existing rules.

Like most of his colleagues on the ostensible political right, Johnson attempted to couch his proposal as a moderate and reasonable way to handle otherwise civilization-destroying policy. After all, he continued, “when people have been here for a very long time and haven’t fallen foul of the law, then it makes sense to try to regularize their status.”
No, it doesn’t “make sense.” It makes sense to deport them.
We’ve seen this movie play out before. Conservative Politician A proposes a milquetoast compromise for a bad public policy. His Leftist rival not only ratchets up what Politician A proposed, but also insults him for being racist if he doesn’t agree. Restricting non-white immigration to 500,000 would be racist, right-wing extremism, while importing 2 million would be truly progressive and welcoming.
Thus does the Overton Window shift toward the normalization of white displacement.
The cycle never ends.
Although Brexit allowed the UK to break free from the suzerainty of the European Union, it has not thrown off the multicultural virus that has colonized the minds of millions of whites throughout the West. Often forgotten is that the UK’s Open Borders regime predated its EU membership.
To some extent, the UK’s immigration policy was very lax in the aftermath of World War II when Clement Attlee’s Labour Government passed the 1948 British Nationality Act, which granted citizenship to subjects of the British Empire. That meant people living in colonies stretching from Britain’s Caribbean islands all the way to Hong Kong could enter and work in Britain.
Furthermore, the act conferred residency rights to citizens of the British Commonwealth—such countries as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa—the first three having clear white majority populations. Regardless, the act still allowed significant non-white migration [The Racial Transformation of Britain, by Richard Lynn, American Renaissance, August 2020].
That’s when non-white migration took off. Predictably, for instance, West Indians quickly formed ghettoes. The British economy was booming at the time, thereby becoming a magnet for Afro-Caribbean immigrants.
Conflict between indigenous Britons and Caribbean blacks came to a head during the inevitable Notting Hill riots of 1958, a further demonstration of how diversity and inter-racial conflict go hand-in-hand [Notting Hill riots—50 years on, by Alice Bhandhukravi, BBC, August 21, 2008].
Instead of listening to the grievance of the white working class, British authorities imposed harsher penalties on the whites who participated in the riots. That presaged the trend of Western governments persecuting their foundational citizens, while giving foreigners a slap on the wrist.
Nonetheless, Notting Hill’s race riots were an unprecedented event that sparked a sense of racial consciousness among many Britons. Many whites learned how tall an order it would be to assimilate non-whites. As a result of the backlash, the British political class scrambled to create a solution.
Although marketed as a form of immigration restriction, the passage of the 1962 Commonwealth Immigration Act merely retarded the growth of non-white migration. It established some piece-meal restrictions to immigration, such as removing the right of entry for citizens of the British colonies and Commonwealth, save for the parents, spouses, and children of individuals already in the country. Exceptions were also made for individuals hired for jobs British citizens were not able to do.
The Act still did not address the fundamental problem of immigration from culturally alien countries, and kicked the immigration can down the proverbial road. Enoch Powell—the greatest immigration patriot to grace Albion—stood up to defend his people with his so-called Rivers of Blood speech in 1968. It was a patriotic Englishman’s response to mass non-white immigration and the newly-passed Race Relations Act 1968, an “anti-discrimination” edict that curtailed the freedoms of native white Britons.
In both the US to the UK, the 1960s were a transitional decade, from a political order that assumed national homogeneity toward a multicultural model. Hence, the similarities of the multicultural blight that afflicts both countries today.
Like America, the UK has maintained a relatively Open-Door migration policy since the 1970s. The UK’s immigration numbers saw a significant boost under the leadership of neoliberal Prime Minister Tony Blair. When Blair was elected in 1997, the UK accepted 48,000 immigrants annually. By the time Blair resigned in 2007, the number had grown sixfold to 273,000. Net migration reached its peak in 2015, when 331,000 immigrants arrived [Net migration to the UK, The Migration Observatory, July 29, 2020]. The unspoken aim of that change was to replace Britain’s white population and bring in new voters for Labour. As Blair sidekick Andrew Neather said in 2009, Labour wanted to “rub the Right’s nose in diversity.”
More recently, although COVID-19 put a damper on international travel, migration to the UK was not drastically affected. Some 313,000 immigrants landed in the country from 2019 to 2020 [Migration Statistics, House of Commons Library, April 27, 2021].
As COVID-19 subsides and governments across the world begin relaxing their restrictions, migrant inflows will almost certainly increase. And rest assured, if Johnson has his way, those numbers will undoubtedly skyrocket.
Diversity is already taking its toll. In recent years, knife-crime has plagued the country, prompting a number of elected officials, such as London’s Muslim mayor, Saddiq Khan, to suggest “knife control” as a way to combat this crime surge [After murder rate passes NYC, London Mayor Sadiq Khan calls for sharper knife control, by William Cummings, USA Today, April 9, 2018]. Ridiculous policy suggestions are always the fallback option of politicians who refuse to recognize the realities of race with regards to crime.
VDARE.com’s John Derbyshire has done yeoman’s work in exposing the perpetrators of these crimes … who have created non-white statelets, the infamous no-go zones, where native Britons dare not wander unless they want a one-way ticket to an early grave.
Remember that sign in Birmingham. These areas will grow even larger as migration continues.
To no one’s shock, unassimilable migrants take advantage of their newly colonized territories to prey upon native Britons and ethnically cleanse them with virtual impunity. Working class Britons are thus rendered complete strangers in the land their ancestors built.
Even the British Government, a paragon of multicultural ideology, can no longer ignore the corrosive effects of mass migration. Case in point: the infamous grooming gangs popping up all over the UK.
Starting in 2018, former Home Secretary Sajid Javid investigated the ethnic background of the gangs, which terrorized Rochdale, Rotherham, and Telford. Of course, the government was hesitant to publish its report. Incredibly, the Home Office declared that it would not be in the “public interest” to release the information.
But a petition signed by 130,000 people forced the Home Office to capitulate [Grooming gang review kept secret as Home Office claims releasing findings ‘not in public interest’, by Lizzie Dearden, The Independent, February 21, 2020].
The report confessed that the gangs come from “diverse backgrounds,” meaning the members hail from Islamic countries in the Middle East or the Greater Middle East [Grooming gangs come from ‘diverse backgrounds’, says Home Office as review finally published, by Lizzie Dearden, The Independent, December 15, 2020]. Yet laughably enough, it also claimed that “links between ethnicity and this form of offending” could not be demonstrated:
It is difficult to draw conclusions about the ethnicity of offenders as existing research is limited and data collection is poor.

That sounds exactly like the Austin American-Statesman’s recent notorious excuse for refusing to report the police department’s description of the suspect in the city’s recent mass shooting:
The Austin American Statesman is not including the description as it is too vague at this time to be useful in identifying the shooter and such publication could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes.
Of course the shooter was black.
That’s multiculturalism for you. It lowers the level of public discourse by making so many subjects too sensitive to discuss.
Barring the passage of a hard immigration moratorium, the ethnocide of the UK, particularly if Johnson gets his way, will be put on hyperdrive.
None of the culture and institutions that have made the UK and its settler colonies the envy of the world arose by chance. They’re the product of centuries of blood and sweat of Anglo-Saxons, who bequeathed them to their posterity, who in turn ventured across the globe to establish settlements that reflected the values and folkways of the Motherland.
Non-Anglos are part of the story, but their contributions to the global march of European civilization were a footnote. Any foreigner privileged enough to settle in white lands should pay his respects. In that, I include myself.
The Historic American Nation faces the same fight as the Historic English Nation. If the brother Anglo-Saxon polities continue down this path, they will be overwhelmed by the end of the century. And not a shot will have been fired.
America and its Mother civilization are tied at the hip. Only one solution will save them: an immigration moratorium.”
It is indeed, the West’s darkest hour.
