I hate mobile phones too, which have captured the minds of the young and are probably going to lead to a rise in brain cancers, if not the rot of all things decent:

If there really were definitive studies demonstrating a cancer link, do you think the system would do anything about it given the money involved? We live in environments full of dangerous chemicals, chemicals that suck away manhood and destroy testosterone, but the system says that is the price of modernity and consumerism. Social problems like this one is merely water off of a very large duck’s back:

“A second-grader wrote about how they wish cellphones were never invented, because they eat up so much of their parents’ time — and a photo of it has gone viral. The child’s teacher, Jen Adams Beason, shared a photo of the unnamed student’s assignment on Facebook last Friday. It has now been shared more than 256,000 times. Here’s what the assignment said (in the students’ words): “If I had to tell you what invention I don’t like I would say that I don’t like the phone. I don’t like the phone because my panert (sic) are on their phone every day. A phone is sometimes a really bad habet (sic). “I hate my mom’s phone and I wish she never had one. That is an invention that I don’t like.” Sad, but that’s just the way it is, until we are saved by a “higher love”:
