Of all the things which Donald Trump has said, the claim that the system is “rigged” is the one which really upsets the ruling elites because this challenges the legitimacy of the “game.” Hillary Clinton said that Trump is “denigrating … talking down our democracy.” But what “democracy” does America have with a “rigged” media, constantly lying, and much worse, totally corrupt polls with fraudulent voting?
Let’s begin with the media who do not make any attempt to disguise outright bias, even in the face of inconsistency. For example, the New York Post.com, October 23, 2016, has an article “Trump Leading in Poll that has Best Track Record Over Last Three Election”: http://nypost.com/2016/10/23/trump-leading-in-poll-that-has-best-track-record-over-last-three-elections/. The article cites the Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP tracking poll which has Trump with 42.1 percent and Clinton at 39.7 percent. That would at a minimum, if words and numbers still have a meaning, of indicating a reasonable chance for Trump, surely. But the last sentence of the article quotes a Reuters/Ipsos vote analysis that gives “Clinton a 95 percent chance of winning”. Anyone who knows basic statistics can see that this is a mathematical inconsistency because the voting analysis could not get such a super-high, unrealistic success probability contrary to the best poll. The article doesn’t even address the issue but just dumps the last sentence in to “refute” the poll.
Other propaganda says that Clinton has a 12–point lead over Trump and has 50 percent support nationally, although a CBS News Poll has Trump and Clinton tied in Florida and a L.A. Times tracking poll has them tied – well, Trump has a lead at 44.4 percent to Clinton 44.1 percent. While all of this is inconsistent, what has not yet received attention is how allegedly pro-Clinton polls interact with the grandmother of all polls: 93 percent of Americans want Hillary Clinton criminally prosecuted over the email and related scandals. Although 58 percent said that the issue would not affect their vote, that leaves a sizeable percentage whose votes will be affected. It is also extremely odd that 58 percent want a president to rule from prison, indicating a high “moron” factor among voters. Clearly is she is in prison, she can’t also be president. Let’s turn now to election fraud and rigging, which is the real problem, and something Trump will need to challenge if he loses, which is likely given how corrupt the system is. I collected masses of articles on this over the last few days and have found too much information to concisely summarise here.
A 2012 report by the Pew Research Center found that 24 million voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are inaccurate, and the situation has got worse since then. There are concerns about illegal migrants voting, and even people using dead people’s identities as well as the soundness of voting machines.
Here are some headlines from articles going into all of this in detail, which you can Google: “Is the System Rigged? You Betcha”; “Rigged Elections are as American as Apple Pie”; “Podesta: All You Need is a Driver’s License to Vote”; “Of Course It’s Rigged” (Bob Livingston); “No Fraud? One needs to only dip into a few of these articles to see that democracy has ceased to exist in America. Indeed, Wikileaks release of the emails of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta indicates that Podesta was in agreement with a Princeton University Study which argued that the US “was no longer an actual democracy” (see: Breitbart.com, October 22, 2016)
The paper by Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page, “Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens” (Perspectives on Politics, vol. 12, no. 3, 2014, pp. 564-581, found this: “Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organised groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on US government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence.” In other words, democracy does not exist and the elites rule.
In the context of all of this, it is not surprising that 41 percent of Americans believe that voter fraud could result in the November election being “stolen” from Trump, with 73 percent of Republicans and 17 percent of Democrats believing this. Mike Adams at Natural News.com, October 21, 2016, agrees with a Wikileaks tweet: “There is no US election. There is power consolidation. Rigged primary, rigged media and rigged ‘pied piper’ candidate drive consolidation.”
While all of this may seem highly depressing, the good news is that so much of this corruption is now being revealed and substantial numbers of people are getting angry. Maybe we will head into a time of a new “civil rights movement,” this time for all people.
