First, the usual boring  disclaimer, that we are not dispensing health recommendations, which only professions can do because of the medical monopoly. That done, consider oral hygiene. There is an interesting article here:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2225411016300281?via%3Dihub     dealing with oil pulling, which is simply keeping coconut or olive oil in your mouth for say 20 minutes, not swallowing and spitting the contents out. It is thought to improve oral health through killing bugs and other nasties:

“Oil pulling is observed to bring improvement in oral hygiene when practiced correctly and regularly. Limited available research on effect of oil pulling on oral hygiene shows promising benefits of oil pulling procedure on oral cavity. However oil pulling does not replace dental therapy and is currently not recommended by American dental association.35 Extensive research on the role of this traditional, cheap and valuable remedy should be encouraged without bias. Based on currently available research it can be concluded that oil pulling when performed as recommended, can be safely used as an adjunct to maintain good oral hygiene and health along with the routine tooth brushing and flossing with promising positive results.”

Please excuse me, while I spit. The few teeth that I have left are zinging.
