“Populist Sweden Democrat (SD) leader Jimmie Åkesson appeared along the Turkish border with Greece this week to hand out flyers to migrants stating “Sweden is full”. Åkesson, alongside his Chief of Staff Mikael Eriksson, met with migrants on the Turkish side of the border and travelled to the town of Edirne to get their own first-hand view of the situation following Turkey’s opening of the border last week. Both men proceeded to hand out English-language flyers to the migrants that stated: “Sweden is full. Don’t come to us! We can’t give you more money or provide housing. Sorry about this message.” It was signed by “the people of Sweden, Sweden Democrats”. “Above all, the visit is about forming your own picture of what the situation is,” Åkesson said in comments reported by Nyheter Idag. He added: “Both by looking with our own eyes and by talking to migrants and police. We also handed out flyers with the message that Sweden is full.” The SD leader went on to say that he observed a “constant flow” of migrants and that they told him Sweden, Germany, and France were most mentioned as the target countries for the migrants. “The EU’s external border was tested in 2015 and collapsed. We can’t just rely on it,” he said and called for Sweden to also increase support for controlling its own border. Following the order from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to open the gates to Europe for migrants last week, Turkey’s interior minister has claimed that as many as 100,000 migrants have travelled to the border with Greece in recent days. European leaders like Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz have made it clear they do not want a repeat of the 2015 migrant crisis, while tensions remain high on the Greco-Turkish border with violent clashes taking place between Greek authorities and migrants. Earlier this week, Greek armed forces conducted live-fire drills at the Evros land border with Turkey as conservative Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said he would not be “blackmailed” by the Turkish government.”
“In the words of Progress Party luminary Christian Tybring-Gjedde, Norway must “put a complete halt to non-Western immigration”. Following the recent resolution passed by the Progress Party's Oslo chapter aimed at making Norway a “beacon of patriotism in the world”, its heavyweight Christian Tybring-Gjedde called for the people to vote on immigration. According to Tybring-Gjedde, one of the party's most important politicians, who previously called immigration the single most important issue facing Norway, the party needs a new policy. “Liberalism is a dead ideology. Let's put the utopian ideology in the drawer and try to make everyday life better for most people. We need a new policy. We need to talk the way most people understand. We must create a policy for the new era,” Tybring-Gjedde said, as quoted by the news outlet Resett. Tybring-Gjedde stressed that it is important for Norway to become a lighthouse in Europe, where the EU, he ventured, has failed in many aspects. “We want to be clear that climate change is not man-made and would like to have a complete halt in non-Western immigration,” Tybring-Gjedde said. In particular, he wants the Progress Party to let the people vote on immigration. “I want a referendum on immigration; it is not in the resolution, but it will be the next step for me,” he added. Tybring-Gjedde was backed by fellow party members. “We must put Norway and the Norwegian people first and foremost. That's what people expect,” Geir Ugland Jacobsen said. The Progress Party's new resolution says that the party should build on patriotism and protect the nation-state. Party leader Siv Jensen voted against the resolution, but the majority in her own county apparently wanted Norway to become a “patriotic beacon”.
“The Progress has always defined itself as a party on the right. We therefore need to make a choice: Should we be part of Europe and the United States' new right wing, and become a beacon for patriotic voters, or should we be part of the liberal/social democratic party flora as the Conservatives [Progress' former allies] has and fight for the same voters as everyone else?” the resolution said. The Eurosceptic Progress Party supports individual liberties, low taxes and small government, while pushing for a rigid immigration policy and traditional values. At 15.3 percent of the vote, theirs is the country's third-largest party. Until mid-January this year, it used to be a staple in the centre-right coalition spearheaded by the Conservatives. However, the Progress left the government following its decision to repatriate a Pakistani-Norwegian Daesh* widow. Siv Jensen called it “the last straw” and ventured that the party would be better off in the opposition to avoid unnecessary compromises.”
However, the mainstream position, adopted by the comfortable elites, such as academics, media and church mice, is that Europe is to be always eternally open as a receptacle for endless migration, forever;

“Thousands of protesters marched in Germany calling for open borders and for the European Union to allow thousands of migrants to flow into the bloc from Turkey. Outside German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s official residence in Berlin, approximately 3,000 protesters gathered on Tuesday evening, with matching protests being held in Hamburg and Potsdam, calling for the EU to “open the border in Greece”. The protesters chanted “we have space!” and called the 2016 agreement between the EU and Turkey to halt the flow of migration as “toxic”, according to DW. The march in Berlin was organised following Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s decision to “open the gates” to migration into the EU. The protest was led by the activist group Seebrücke Berlin (Sea Bridge Berlin), which says it is “against the policy of sealing off the EU and for the opening of the borders”. “The solution is clear: open the border in Greece now so that there is no more suffering. Allow people to come to Europe and Germany. There are plenty of communities ready for reception here. Let’s oppose the fascist mobs and come together for a solidarity society!” the group wrote. In a petition signed by over 2,000 people, Seebrücke said that the government of Germany should work to “ensure that the EU opens the border and allows people to flee unhindered. People must be able to enter the numerous German municipalities and apply for asylum.”
This will go on until social breakdown, the “coming anarchy” and civil war destroys the modern European liberal state, liberalism and all its embodiments. It could have been avoided, but, the elites just keep on pushing.
