Green zealots infest all parties, the media, academia, education and the business vested interests. They consistently oppose what works and promote what won’t.

Greens demand “Zero Emissions”. Nuclear and hydro power are the only practical “zero carbon” electricity options for Australia. Greens oppose both.

Greens worship “the environment”, but support widespread environmental destruction by bird-chopping windmills, land-stealing solar panels and their inevitable spider-webs of roads and transmission lines. All to produce intermittent energy that is forced onto distributers and consumers by legislated targets, taxes, subsidies and mandates.

Green policies support cutting forests in America to ship woodchips to UK for burning in the DRAX power station. Other policies support growing crops using diesel fuel for tractors, harvesters and trucks to produce bio-diesel with less net energy than they started with. Not smart.

Greens support carbon capture and storage, fully aware that this won’t happen without legislated subsidies, taxes and targets. They know that CCS will favour their wind and solar toys by multiplying costs and energy waste for coal, oil or gas generators. Big miners also love it because far more coal or gas will be needed to produce the same electricity.

Most politicians now support “green” steel and aluminium, via zero-emissions hydrogen. The hydrogen must be made by electrolysis of water or from methane. Electrolysis is not feasible without the nuclear power they oppose. And the methane route produces poisonous carbon monoxide plus more of the carbon dioxide they dread. All processes use more energy than can be generated from the products.

Australia’s huge untapped resources of uranium and hydrocarbons are the envy of the world. But their green tape, locked gates and death-by-delay strangles all exploration and development.

And Green Guru, Ross Garnaut, thinks graziers should harvest kangaroos not cattle. Let them do both.

     Who likes the taxation department? Why even back in Jesus’ day the tax collectors were hated. So, if Trump moved to minimise his tax, so what? The mail was mixed and did contain ‘several’ absentee ballots.” The report said that the U.S. Postal Service would not disclose the specific location where the absentee ballots were discovered or how many were found. “We are aware of some mail including absentee ballots recovered in Greenville, Outagamie County earlier this week,” a spokesperson said. “The U.S. Postal Service is investigating this matter, and we are unable to comment further at this time.” The news comes after federal law enforcement officials discovered that some military ballots had been discarded in the swing state of Pennsylvania and that out of all the discarded ballots that had been opened, they all had voted for President Donald Trump. “The FBI has recovered a number of documents relating to military ballots that had been improperly opened by your elections staff, and had the ballots removed and discarded, or removed and placed separately from the envelope containing confidential voter information and attestation,” U.S. Attorney David J. Freed said in a letter to Shelby Watchilla, Director of Elections of Luzerne County Bureau of Elections.

     Looking at the US situation from London, I must say that it was not been established that the killing of George Floyd was a “racist” act. A killing, yes, horrible, yes, but would the cop who was trained by a foreign military to use the knee on the neck technique, use this technique on a White, Asian, or Latino? Surely, he would. Since it is likely to be non-discriminatory, clearly the protester had all of their racial rampage stuff pre-cooked and ready to go. “Czech President Milos Zeman on Tuesday (June 30) described the "Black Lives Matter" slogan as racist, 11 days after the European Parliament strongly backed the BLM campaign and urged EU countries to embrace its aims. Speaking at the US embassy in Prague to mark US Independence Day on July 4, Zeman compared the BLM leadership to the ever-watchful eyes of "Big Brother" keeping tabs on citizens' behaviour. Zeman targeted the "Black Lives Matter" campaign that has spread around the globe since George Floyd, an unarmed African-American man, was killed in US police custody a month ago. "I say that the slogan 'Black Lives Matter' is a racist slogan because all lives matter," Zeman said in a speech provided by his spokesman. The BLM movement says black lives have been valued far less than the lives of others. Zeman, a pro-Russian and pro-Chinese left-winger, slammed what he called attacks on the independence of citizens, faith and nations. Addressing the US ambassador in English, Zeman denounced "the riots on the streets, the burning of the cars, destroying of statues in both countries". In the Czech Republic, an EU country, protesters painted the words "He was a racist" and "Black Lives Matter" on a statue of British World War II leader Winston Churchill. The BLM movement has been regarded as largely peaceful. Protesters have targeted statues in the United States and Europe that depict historical figures who owned slaves or were colonisers. The 75-year-old Zeman, who is serving his second five-year term until 2023, blamed "stupid fellows who declare themselves value leaders, or even opinion leaders". "We need free thinking, we need common sense," he said. "I do not need any new Big Brother," he said, using a term from George Orwell's classic dystopian novel 1984 to claim the BLM was foisting its opinions on others. Adopted by 493 to 104 votes, the European Parliament on June 19 declared that "Black Lives Matter" and denounced racism and white supremacism in all its forms. The symbolic resolution rebuked US President Donald Trump for his "inflammatory rhetoric" and for threatening to deploy the army against protesters. It also urged EU countries to denounce "the disproportionate use of force and racist tendencies in law enforcement".
