The Economic Cost of Immigration By James Reed

This article deals with Canada, which is a similar “swamp” to Australia, so it should be relevant:
  https://business.financialpost.com/opinion/setting-the-record-straight-on-the-benefits-and-heavy-costs-of-immigration-to-canada

“In a recent campaign speech, Maxime Bernier, leader of the People’s Party of Canada, cited the results of one of our studies, which showed that recent immigrants are imposing a heavy fiscal burden on Canadians. He used this information to justify his plan to reduce future levels of immigration. The CBC had journalist Jonathon Gatehouse do a “fact check” of Bernier’s claim about the fiscal burden. In a publication sponsored by the CBC, he concludes that this claim is “false.” Since this verdict implies that our study also reached false conclusions, we feel compelled to do our own fact check of the analysis produced by Gatehouse. The author makes much of the well-known fact that immigrants have a positive effect on aggregate national income (GDP), which says nothing about the fiscal burden. He also fails to note that recent immigrants have lowered Canada’s per capita income since, according to official statistics, they have lower average incomes than other Canadians. He also cites a number of published studies and data he considers relevant. They involve well-known facts and again tell us nothing about the fiscal burden. For example, he notes that the gap in the unemployment rate between recent immigrants and native-born Canadian males has narrowed, but neglects to mention that this always happens when an economic boom creates increased demand for labour and leads to the hiring of previously unemployable workers.

We Have been Saying this Since Eric Butler By James Reed

In the “we told you so department,” here is an article saying that he adoption of neo-liberal economic policies have destroyed the West, and china has capitalised upon this, which was the only sensible thing to do when your main competition cannot resist committing suicide. Here is Paul Craig Roberts summing it all up:
  https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-24/what-globalism-did-was-transfer-us-economy-china-pcr

“The main problem with the US economy is that globalism has been deconstructing it. The offshoring of US jobs has reduced US manufacturing and industrial capability and associated innovation, research, development, supply chains, consumer purchasing power, and tax base of state and local governments. Corporations have increased short-term profits at the expense of these long-term costs. In effect, the US economy is being moved out of the First World into the Third World. Tariffs are not a solution. The Trump administration says that the tariffs are paid by China, but unless Apple, Nike, Levi, and all of the offshoring companies got an exemption from the tariffs, the tariffs fall on the offshored production of US firms that are sold to US consumers. The tariffs will either reduce the profits of the US firms or be paid by US purchasers of the products in higher prices. The tariffs will hurt China only by reducing Chinese employment in the production of US goods for US markets. The financial media is full of dire predictions of the consequences of a US/China “trade war.” There is no trade war. A trade war is when countries try to protect their industries by placing tariff barriers on the import of cheaper products from foreign countries. But half or more of the imports from China are imports from US companies. Trump’s tariffs, or a large part of them, fall on US corporations or US consumers.

Massaging the Feet of the Elites By Chris Knight

Here is an update on the Epstein saga, with fresh documents showing that the guy who does the horrible politely, sorry, politically, correct show The Simpson’s, got his disgusting feet massaged by a young girl, that Epstein really was a paedophilic rapist, raping two 12-year old’s that he has especially flown in for the depredation, and that some people we might be surprised to see on the list are there. No doubt this is all running out of steam, as our people are so used to abuse that they will be seeking new levels of degradation and ethno-masochism next week. Gasp, I feel ill and tired. I must be getting old. That was enough misery for one day! Time for a few stiff drinks, as Epstein might say, if he was not dead. (If he is dead?)

But James, What if You are Wrong about Climate Change???? By James Reed

If one is a rational scientific thinker, then the possibility of being wrong must be addressed. Here at this beloved site, we oppose the mainstream on climate change, global warming, you know that nonsense and hot air. But what if we are wrong, someone in an email recently asked? Is the UN and globalists right, and  should we  pack our bags and give up, living a life of drinking soy milk, instead of hard liquor? Hardly. Here is some literature discussing this hypothetical. The basic line of response is that the best way of dealing with any environmental problem is locally, not globally, because globally the problem is just too big to solve. Thus, if there is a need to reduce waste, then fine, let us overhaul the financial system, which because of its debt structure leads to the need for endless growth, much of which does not serve genuine human interests. In other words, environmentalism could be reinterpreted from the Right, and it would make more sense too.

But don’t panic! Nobody here is saying anything positive about environmentalism, only in the logically possible scenario that we IF were wrong, the argument is far from over.

White Death: Sugar By Mrs Vera West

There is a very good article at the New York Times detailing the politics behind how the blame for ill health was shifted from sugar to fat. But now the truth is slowly starting to seep out. It is worth quoting from the article since for some magic reason I never hit the pay wall, so I am like a kid in a lolly shop … oops, wrong metaphor:
  https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/13/well/eat/how-the-sugar-industry-shifted-blame-to-fat.html

“The sugar industry paid scientists in the 1960s to play down the link between sugar and heart disease and promote saturated fat as the culprit instead, newly released historical documents show. The internal sugar industry documents, recently discovered by a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, and published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine, suggest that five decades of research into the role of nutrition and heart disease, including many of today’s dietary recommendations, may have been largely shaped by the sugar industry. “They were able to derail the discussion about sugar for decades,” said Stanton Glantz, a professor of medicine at U.C.S.F. and an author of the JAMA Internal Medicine paper. The documents show that a trade group called the Sugar Research Foundation, known today as the Sugar Association, paid three Harvard scientists the equivalent of about $50,000 in today’s dollars to publish a 1967 review of research on sugar, fat and heart disease. The studies used in the review were handpicked by the sugar group, and the article, which was published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, minimized the link between sugar and heart health and cast aspersions on the role of saturated fat.”

Summing Up the “Epstain” Saga By Charles Taylor

Life is short, and the grim reaper awaits us all, and not merely knocks on the door, but smashes it off its hinges. Hence the need to quickly sum up the Epstein issue. The best, logical conclusion to the suicide/murder is given here by Greg Johnson, in my opinion:
  https://www.counter-currents.com/2019/08/im-not-a-conspiracy-theorist-but/

“Thus when Jeffrey Epstein turned up dead with marks around his neck consistent with murder or suicide, everyone with two IQ points to rub together and a cursory knowledge of his case concluded that his death was no mere suicide. Let’s think this through. Jeffrey Epstein was either murdered or he committed suicide. Nobody has suggested that Epstein died of natural causes. I am surprised nobody has suggested auto-erotic asphyxiation, given what a colossal pervert he was. Because the Metropolitan Correctional Center had ways to prevent Epstein from committing suicide, if it was suicide, then Epstein was allowed to kill himself. If he was allowed to kill himself, it was either intentional or negligent. If Epstein was intentionally allowed to kill himself, then the probable motive is the same as murder, namely to prevent Epstein from testifying. If Epstein was negligently allowed to kill himself, then we have to conclude that the US government, particularly in New York City, is no longer a serious institution. Instead, it is functioning on a level somewhere between a Latin American banana republic and an African failed state. In particular, we have to conclude that the people in charge of New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center are either criminal or negligent, or perhaps a combination of the two.

Letter to The Editor - Each time we cringe, China squeezes the claws tighter

To The Advertiser, The evidence of Communist China’s influence in Australia has strengthened since books like “Silent Invasion” surfaced a couple of years ago. Our trade with China, whether it be exports of agricultural products, coal and iron ore or the university education multi-million dollar ‘industry’ we provide; we are clearly addicted to it.  No finger of criticism of China can be raised without a warning that, “we should be careful to not offend our major trading partner!” By example, witness the warning about China from Andrew Hastie which was quickly countered by Trade Minister Birmingham. Each time we cringe, China squeezes the claws tighter. It is ironic that former Prime Minister Tim Fischer, who died today, was a Vietnam veteran who fought in a bid to defeat the encroaching communist dictatorship; whilst today Prime Minister Morrison is in Communist Vietnam hoping to establish more trade and closer ties. Australia is becoming too dependent on communist nations to keep our economy afloat and our sovereignty is being compromised.

The Universities are Going to Get What They Richly Deserve! By James Reed

The establishment line is that the universities bring in the big bucks; figures vary but the rhetoric is the same, $35 billion, you name it, your guess is as good as theirs:
  https://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2019/08/australias-bogus-35b-international-student-market/

I am bored with this debate because I believe that societies need to move beyond the medieval university model of knowledge. So what if education can be flogged off to international students, just like farms and the rest of the country! With this mentality, with all that maters is a profit, sell off the entire country and everybody in as slaves. That should do the job! Anyway, there are dark clouds on the horizon for the universities, and I welcome it:

Letter to The Editor - Canberra Water for Environmental Flow?

A notice to THE PRIME MINISTER OF AUSTRALIA and THE PEOPLE OF CANBERRA.

A delegation of people from waterless western NSW is planning to come to Canberra to demonstrate to the people of the ACT how they are destroying lives and businesses across the Murray-Darling Basin.

“We intend to drain Lake Burley Griffin as an environmental flow down the Murrumbidgee River.
Just as the MDB Authority did with the Menindee Lakes.

“Then to add more volume to this environmental flow we will also drain the Cotter dam.
Just as the MDB Authority did with Keepit and Burrendong Dams.

“Then when the people of the ACT have no water for basic needs we will try to get you some bottled water.

“You must make-do with bottled water until there is rain in the catchment.

“We are very angry people so do please do not get in our way.”

At last! A Good Word for Traditional Manhood By Mrs Vera West

Here is Janet Albrechtsen commenting on the brave guys who managed to subdue the Sydney knife attacker. Isn’t this toxic masculinity according to feminism? And where would civilisation be without it?
  https://www.theaustralian.com.au/inquirer/let-us-now-praise-masculine-men/news-story/591acb01fa932b0620748d2f19ff67ae?utm_source=The%20Australian&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_content=TodaySHeadlines

“The conflation of traditional masculinity with the poorly defined “toxic masculinity” won’t stop bad behaviour because when words lose their meaning, they lose their punch. Take the Gillette ad, “The Best Men Can Be”, where Procter & Gamble tried to hijack this latest fad to turn a profit. Proving that consumers are not fools, it didn’t work. This month, P&G reported a net loss of $US5.24 billion ($7.73bn) for the quarter ending June 30. The company said men today like more facial hair. The company could have added that men today don’t like being told that masculinity needs to be redefined by a preachy razor ad showing a series of men behaving badly. While whoops of delight came from Jane Caro and Clementine Ford, more thoughtful viewers saw an advert with as much nuance as a lightning bolt from God. Perhaps Gillette’s next foray into “The Best Men Can Be” will include some vision of those brave men saving Sydneysiders from further violence earlier this week. It does no one any favours when gender is used as a cheap weapon, a stunt for ulterior motives. This week, for example, former foreign minister Julie Bishop fronted a camera, again, to talk about her time in politics, again, this time on Andrew Denton’s Interview program on the Seven Network.

Jacinda Arden’s Gun Banning Labour Party, Funded by Chinese Communists, Of Course By Bruce Bennett

An older story, but still relevant in the light of New Zealand’s gun banning frenzy, which traces the financing of the ever politically correct Jacinda Arden’s Labour Party, which unlike the Australian version, still retains the “o,” in its name, which could be meaningful:
  https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12058818

“An influential United States Congress hearing has been told "one of the major fundraisers for Jacinda Ardern's party" is linked to the Chinese Communist Party and it showed China had penetrated New Zealand's political networks. As a result, US lawmakers needed to consider whether New Zealand should be kicked out of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance because of problems at its "political core". The bombshell testimony included claims from a former Central Intelligence Agency analyst that "anything on China that was briefed to Bill English was briefed to Mr Yang Jian", the National MP revealed last year as having trained spies for China. The hearing of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission was aimed at gathering evidence on China's relationship with traditional US allies. UN Senator James Talent - once touted as Donald Trump's pick for Secretary of Defence - raised concerns about "a sharp rise in political donations" from Chinese Government-backed bodies to political parties in Australia and New Zealand. China's actions included getting people linked to the Communist Party or People's Liberation Army elected and had made it worth the while of political figures "to parrot its line on issues it deems important". "It's important for the United States to consider that China may be testing methods of interference to probe for weaknesses in democracies in order to use the same techniques against Western countries in the future." The hearing heard testimony from former CIA analyst Peter Mattis who said the Chinese Communist Party had worked "very close to or inside the political core" of Australia and New Zealand and "one of the major fundraisers for Jacinda Ardern's party has United Front links". "That, you have to say, this is close enough to the central political core of the New Zealand system that we have to think about whether or not they take action and what kinds of action. What do they do to reduce the risk?"

A Paedophilic Kingdom Buried in Concrete! By Chris Knight

Wow, amazing coincidences happen all the time with the Epstein saga. Apparently just before his arrest he had a big cement mixer sent gift wrapped to his sex island. Now, Right wingers would say that this was to cover incriminating material under concrete for future generations of tourists, but for the Democrats … why … it must have been home renovations.

One day, after the human race has died off, perhaps an intelligent race will land on earth in their flying frying pan, and zap the cement and examine the contents, as evidence that no intelligent beings lived on this planet.

Burying Australia in People By James Reed

Here are two good articles on the White genocide theme, with a focus upon Australia’s immigration agenda. The concerned blogger cites an article “We Should Take Migrants from More Nations,” which I have not been able to independently locate, so I delete reference to the alleged author. Anyway, the comments made are highly relevant:

“We are reshaping the composition of Australia without any debate or planning. … Many people I spoke to in Europe told me how much they admired our policy of stopping the boats. But what these supporters of our policies may not know is that alongside our tough policy of stopping a few hundred refugees coming by boat, there has been a massive official immigration program of almost 200,000 each year over the past decade that is changing the demography of Australia. And what most Australians don't know is that there has been an explosion in the number of people flying to Australia in visitor visas and then applying for refugee protection visas: up from 8547 in 2014-15 to a staggering 27,931 in 2017-18. As a result, Australia has more than eight million overseas-born residents or about 30 per cent of its population. The US has about 14 per cent, Germany 15 per cent, and other European countries have even less. I think we need a high migrant intake because we are still building Australia. Study after study has shown that it is good for our economy. And as long as people we admit are supportive of our democratic values and respect our laws, I am OK with that. But as I have argued, we must diversify our intake. If we want to retain social cohesion, if we want a truly multicultural nation, we should not have a concentration of immigrants from two or three countries.”

Sell Greenland? How About “Selling” Australia Now to the US While the Going is Good! By James Reed

There comes a time when big decisions need to be made. Take Greenland for example, the land of ice.  Trump is considering buying it because of the Chinese threat:
  https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-18/its-not-joke-trump-confirms-he-looking-strategicaly-interesting-greenland

“Speaking on the TV circuit on Sunday, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow confirmed that the US president is really mulling the purchase of world’s largest island: "It's an interesting story,” Larry Kudlow told Fox News Sunday. “It’s developing. We’re looking at it. We don’t know." He also reminded host Dana Perino that “years ago” another US President, Harry Truman, also considered buying the 2,166,086-sq-km island, 80 percent of which is covered with ice. According to Kudlow, Denmark - which incorporates Greenland as a self-governed territory - should sell it to America because “Denmark is an ally.” “Greenland is a strategic place… they’ve got a lot of valuable minerals,” he explained, and he is right: Danish surveys have found that the owner of the island would stake a claim to around 900,000 sq km of the continental shelf in the Arctic Ocean. And on Sunday afternoon Trump himself confirmed the report was legitimate when he said speaking to reporters that Greenland is "strategically interesting" and "we’d be interested, but we’ll talk to them a little bit. It’s not No. 1 on the burner, I can tell you that,” the president said. "It’s just something we’ve talked about,” Trump told reporters when asked about the idea. “Denmark essentially owns it. We’re very good allies with Denmark. We’ve protected Denmark like we protect large portions of the world, so the concept came up."

Did Epstein Degrade A Young Woman before Expiring? The “Time Alone with Young Woman” Headline By Charles Taylor

Could it be that the condemned man gets his last wish before execution, not a meal, but a tasty young woman before having his neck broken? Or even agreeing to break his own neck? The Epstein paedophile saga continues to deliver! No conspiracy theorist would ever have come up with this gold:
  https://www.forbes.com/sites/richardbehar/2019/08/15/jeffrey-epstein-spent-time-alone-with-young-female-prison-visitor/#182bbd7c185b

“The day after he was taken off suicide watch, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein spent at least two hours locked up alone with a young woman, in a private room reserved for inmates and their attorneys, according to an attorney who was visiting the prison that day. "The optics were startling. Because she was young. And pretty,” said the visiting attorney, who asked that his name not be used because he didn’t want to create friction with the prison administration. He speculated the woman could be a lawyer—NBC News has reported that Epstein paid members of his team to sit with him in a room for eight hours a day for attorney-client meetings, allowing him to avoid his cell. The visiting attorney went to the Manhattan Correctional Center on July 30, a day after Epstein was reportedly taken off suicide watch and transferred into the Special Housing Unit (SHU). During the hours the visiting attorney was present, it wasn’t Epstein’s main lawyer, Reid Weingarten, or other named attorneys who visited him.

National Socialism Chinese Style By James Reed

There are a number of articles out there in internet land, putting the case that China with its state socialism, will destroy neo-liberalism. One need not embrace this full-blown communism to see the flaws of so-called free trade where there is no level playing field, and China does not play by the rules:

He Hung Himself with Wet Toilet Paper! By Chris Knight

The latest in the Epstein case, that of a globalist paedophile with a child sex island that the 1 percenters visited and were filmed in the act, is that he killed himself with sheets tied to bunk bed posts. The problem here, as detailed by another inmate who was in the same facility is that this is utterly impossible because one, the sheets are like paper and can’t be used for hanging, and two the beds can’t be used for hanging as there is nothing to hang from. Big problem here for the official narrative.

Hey Leftoids, Protest This! By James Reed

At the moment here in Melbourne, the socialist cubs have posters up, open borders or fascism. No grey areas here; you either let everybody in, or die the death of being a racist, the worst possible thing in the Left-universe. Quick, roll around on the ground, screaming for mercy from the mighty race police! But, wait, if these people are so opposed to walls, physical and metaphysical, what about walls in pc places like Africa?
  https://qz.com/africa/1686177/equatorial-guinea-building-trump-border-wall-with-cameroon/

“The tiny oil-rich central African nation of Equatorial Guinea is carrying on plans to erect a wall along its 183km-long border with Cameroon. The plans have sparked controversy with Cameroon authorities because of concerns about encroachment into Cameroon’s territory.  Equato-Guinean officials are said to have already erected milestonesto demarcate the line along which the border wall will be constructed. The move, similar of US president Donald Trump’s pledge to build the controversial US-Mexico border wall, has angered Cameroon’s government. It dispatched its army chief of staff at the end of July to the border town of Kye-Ossi for a situation report and stationed elite forces along the border. There has been a history of border friction between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. Tensions have been rising between the central African neighbors since Equatorial Guinea discovered oil in the 1990s. The smaller country has often blamed Cameroon for allowing illegal migrants from West and Central Africa, especially Nigeria and Cameroon, to pass through en route to Equatorial Guinea in search of economic opportunity. Eq Guinea officials seems to fear an influx of foreigners will weaken efforts to provide jobs to its citizens, majority of whom still live in poverty.

Now The Epstein Evidence is Lost! Oh So Predictable! By Charles Taylor

Chris and myself, both employing the paranoid logic of conspiratorialism, correctly predicted that Epstein, the 1 percenter who had a paedophilic sex island where he filmed other 1 percenters for blackmail purposes, also predicted that after Epstein’s death, that the physical evidence such as records and recordings would be lost. Guess what?
  https://www.breitbart.com/radio/2019/08/14/virgin-islands-sen-evidence-epstein-estate-may-be-lost/

“Evidence of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and operations “may have been lost,” warned U.S. Virgin Islands Sen. Oakland Benta (D) in a Monday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with host Rebecca Mansour and special guest host Matt Boyle. “What’s going on here is what should have happened a long time ago,” said Benta of federal authorities investigating an island owned by Epstein. “As a result of all that has transpired, the federal government decided [to investigate] now, whether it’s too late or not — because there have been so many people on the island since Mr. Epstein has been incarcerated and, at the same time, there’s valuable information, evidence-wise, that we may have lost.” Benta added, “What’s going on is that they have seized the island, and they’re moving forward and doing, probably, what you call asset forfeiture, as far as securing what they can.” Elements of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ government were complicit in Epstein’s crimes, determined Benta. Benta remarked, “I do pray that once the investigation has taken place, as a result of so many people within this territory who are the leadership of this government, of this territory, hiding behind curtains as parasites, and … bringing young ladies to our shores from elsewhere and destroying their lives at will, with passion, without consideration for the child’s soul. And many individuals who participated in these acts are fathers themselves; they have children as well.”
