Bow to the Chinese Please! Manners! By James Reed

Well, one of the good things is that the Chinese New World Disorder will end all of the liberal multicult pc bs, forever. That has got to be a positive, a big plus indeed.  Learning Mandarin will be hard for us older folk, who no doubt would much prefer to eat mandarins with our dentures out, but such is life.

“A Melbourne City councillor has said she regrets bowing to “political influence” and not proceeding with a motion commemorating the 30th anniversary of Beijing’s crackdown on Tiananmen Square in which thousands of students were killed. Cr Jackie Watts said she was dissuaded from proceeding with a motion on June 4 after what she believed was “political influence” from the Chinese Consulate, which triggered “acute distress” in some of her colleagues. When confronted with this distress, she said she was dissuaded from proceeding with the motion just minutes before the meeting started. “On reflection, I know that this timid acquiescence in the face of pressure was an error on my part. I regret this on a number of levels,” Cr Watts told a meeting on Thursday night. “Choosing to stay silent, to in effect bow to political influence right here in our city may have been a humane or collegiate response, but it was contrary to the very democracy that we hold dear.” Cr Watts said she had been planning to move a “simple and respectful motion” that acknowledged the 30th anniversary of the event, which disrupted the lives of so many students studying in Australia at the time. She said it went on to acknowledge that “we in Australia, and now they, have the privilege of living in a democracy where human rights are upheld”.

Cr Watts claimed the “political influence” succeeded in changing her conduct. “In effect, it led to suppression,” she said. “Such political influence, manifesting as distress in a colleague, resulted in me failing to act as my conscience dictated. This is not a minor matter.” A Melbourne City Council spokesperson acknowledged the council had been in contact with the Chinese Consulate on June 4. "It is standard protocol for City of Melbourne officers to contact other levels of government and Consulates, as a courtesy, to make them aware of matters which affect their affairs," the spokesperson said. "We did so on this occasion." "As stated at tonight’s meeting, Cr Watts made a personal decision not to proceed with a motion she had planned to put before Council on 4 June 2019." It is forbidden in China to discuss the Tiananmen Square bloodshed, which has never been officially investigated. So strict is censorship of the June 4, or "liusi" anniversary, that many young Chinese don't know students were killed in the centre of Beijing.”

Well, bowing to Chinese influence was the right thing to do for survival because Australia is a weak nation with no sense of identity, so it is only part of natural selection that the strong, namely China, dominate us. I don’t blame them, it is the natural order after all. The end of Australia as we knew it, is the historical outcome of people here living for the long weekend, the good life and the decadence of consumerism, letting it all just happen. The wind has been sown and the whirlwind shall be reaped: Hosea 8:7. And why does Word suddenly seem to think that the text will be improved by massive gaps being put between words?
